Are there no more hearings? What was meant by after the Memorial Day Holiday hearings will resume? Is that this week or is Reid going to just force a vote?

There were no hearings. The Senate voted to throw out normal procedure, committee hearins, where testimony could be taken be concerned citizens.
Last year they tried the same, but Reid flinched under public pressure. The bill went to a committee full of open borders/wage depression Senators who approved it, but that gave it time for public exposure. Public exposure of the bill is NOT something Bush wants.
