The other thing about all of that after-the-fact analysis that is important is that it is pretty non-political. It was written almost 5 years ago and is not some kind of Giuliani hit-piece. It was trying to take a serious look at what went wrong, what could have been done better, etc.

Since then, despite the noted failures and mismanagement, Rudy wrote a book, launched a consulting firm to take advantage of his newfound image as a "hero", and now prances around the stage trying to define himself as the one who will protect you from Islamofascists. While others clearly talk about improvements and failures, Giuliani and Kerik rarely acknowledge that they were anything but perfect.

I prefer a leader who knows when to exercise humility, not arrogance.

Still some outstanding work and great ovservations. You will be needed here during this next 16 months or so!

“He stood there with a TV reporter and told everyone what was going on. And he got it from everybody else down at the site.”

WTF was he suppose to do?

He was supposed to be in the “command center” coordinating the efforts of the firefighters, police, and other responders.

But since he disregarded expert advice to get the proper equipment the responders needed and the advice to locate the “command center” somewhere other than the WTC, he couldn’t be in there.

So just how does racing from TV crew to TV crew make him a hero?

The sooner the real heroes of 9-11 Swift Boat this liberal puke the better.

This is nothing but nit picking. I am not a Rudy supporter but he did just fine on 9/11.

And Kerry did just fine in Vietnam. Giuliani is no more a hero than Kerry is and deserves to be Swift Boated the sooner the better.

Interesing, I know I've asked before, but you really do think Rudy's nomination is a done thing, don't you.

You’re right. They’re scum. Unfortunately, the media will give them big play, and the average boob watching at home on TV will believe them.

Gosh, I'd whole lot rather have Hildabeast/Hussein Obama in the White House than Rudy, wouldn't you?

Then it’s over in 9, not 16.

I wouldn't, but there's a lot of support for the "moral choice", staying home. Not to mention third parties like the Constitution Party, they along with the Libertarian's have endorsed Ron Paul, so there's an option for a quicker withdrawl from Iraq than anything Hillary is about to do.

I guess Rudy is the oldest of the three.

We have about 7+ months to make sure that doesn't happen. Are you on board?
