There is plenty of evidence why we should not trust you. Trusting you against that evidence would make me a fool.

Divide and conquer.

Enforce the border first - because the minute the pols get waht they want, their motiovation to enforce the borders is gone. They will not be able to deliver on the bureaucratic monster they are creating. It will prove too difficult and they will abandon the effort as they have before.

Based on past exprerience and the the way they demonize critics now, it’s clear that they do not deserve the benefit of any doubt. ‘Triggers’ are a phony gimmick.

Enforce the borders first.

It’s like he doesn’t understand that they tried this before in 1986, and it already failed.

Of course we don’t trust the government to fix it, even if they hadn’t been demagoguing the issue and sweeping it under the rug on both sides of the aisle for the last 20 years.

Out of chances. Build the wall first, then call me, then we’ll talk about the rest of the comprehensive plan.

“take a leadership role and do what’s right for America.”

What happened to the “he he” at the end?

CLINTON: “I did not have sex with that woman”

BUSH: “I did not have amnesty with that alien”

After the Senate rejected Senator Coleman’s common sense amendment to outlaw ‘sanctuary cities’ last week , can there be any doubt that the gov’t is not serious about enforcement?

The warning signs were there early on. There was too much “Clinton relief” in his first term.

>>As a result of a recent Senate amendment, they have to pay back taxes if they haven't paid taxes, too. You're working hard, you pay taxes. People who have been here in this country ought to pay taxes. That's what it says.<<

There was an amendment passed (McCain Amendment 1190), but what it seems to do is make them owe back taxes only if they get a green card. Watch for their talking points to try to fool us about this.

Aliens: representation without taxation

Citizens: taxation without representation

Don't trust Bush nor the Senate RINOS!

No question in my mind. Byron Dorgan’s amendments were defeated last week. A Democrat Senator from ND. One to kill the thing, the other for I can’t remember what, but this issue cuts across party lines.
