And now, finally, Cindy is going back to her family. I thought she was divorsed and the father has the kids?
To: seanmerc
She made the classic mistake. She assumed that people were interested in her cause. Instead, they were merely interested in using her to go after Bush. When she went after Democrats, she suddenly outlived her usefulness.
She got used. Maybe she can met Larry Klayman for drinks.

Everyone’s a loser. Casey lost his life, Cindy lost her mind and the country lost solidarity needed to be triumphant in the struggle against our enemies.

In some way, she believed she was helping the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, when, in fact, she hurt their mission. Too bad we don't read this truth more often. It should be said loud and often about the rotten Dem leadership in Congress.

Apparently, old Cindy thought she was doing a good thing by dishonoring the memory of her son, Casey, every single day.

Her ex-husband Pat, was jogging laps in Sacramento for fallen soldiers on Memorial Day. He ran one lap for each fallen soldier including his and Cindys son, Casey, who was born on Memorial Day 1979 and died on April 4, 2004, when terrorists killed him in a Baghdad slum.
Wonderful to read that Casey's father was honoring his sacrifice.

I hope she isnt returning to Vacaville. I believe she abandoned Vacaville for Berkley and that is where she belongs. Vacaville doesnt need her and neither does her ex husband Pat.

Must have been short laps her husband ran; if it is a standard 1/4 mile track that would be around 800 miles.

Apparently, old Cindy thought she was doing a good thing by dishonoring the memory of her son, Casey, every single day. I think she's going to reach a point, sooner or later, when she realizes just what she's done. That's when it's really going to hurt.

Did she really think the left “cared” about anything but their ruthless cause?

Very well put. Many here and in other forums have said again and again she was being used. Sadly, we were right.

Interesting fact. Many here knew this would happen. FREEPERS are very smart people. I can’t say that I was one of those smart FREEPERS but I do learn from them. If they were taking bets on exactly who this story was going to end, many FRiends would be rich. It is a sad story, but one I hope Cindy learned from and spends the rest of her life praying to God that she can be forgiven and perhaps doing some good for the country like supporting the troops in a good way. They say it is never too late...we shall see what part 2 of Cindy brings.
