I actually feel bad for the lady. She obviously had and continues to have mental problems as a consequence of her son’s death. The Rats expoited Sheehan’s mental problems. But she is reasonable enough, finally, to realize she was just a tool.
This looks very bad for the Dems.
Not me. She's not much different than any other sociopath--she cared (and cares) only for herself and her cause of the moment. She threw aside her family, she spit (allegorically at least) on her son's grave, and she did her best to hurt grieving families of other fallen troops.
I will have more sympathy if and when she apologizes to a lot of people for what she's done, AND when she makes amends in a significant way.
