Democratic presidential hopeful U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., smiles
as he is introduced by his wife Michelle during a campaign stop in Berlin,
N.H., in this Sunday, May 27, 2007 file photo. Michelle Obama has a few
gripes about her husband, Democratic presidential candidate Barack
Obama, and she's not shy about sharing them with thousands of people
she doesn't know.

Mrs. Barak ... packaged by Rats as a kinda, sorta Laura ... in stark contrast to Rodham and Teresa ...

I don’t mind Mrs. Barak as long as she is not talking politics.

I’ll bet that she never mentions his ears.Or the fact that he gives “empty suits” a bad name.

Call me petty. But my husband and I do not EVER make those kind of comments in public. We never run one another down or disparage marriage.

We have our differences, of course, we do. And I wouldn’t imagine anyone thinking that I kowtow to him.

The idea that mocking someone’s faults “humanizes” them is simply foreign to me.

Said Michelle: “We just laugh our asses off whenever I get him in a headlock and give him an old fashioned noogie.”

Last week the AP was quoting Mrs. Bambi Obama as saying she has a big mouth. Now they quote her as saying hubby is bad at putting butter away. I remember when they tried to make Hillary seem human too and it ain’t working this time either.

And after he eats, he doesn't put away the butter.

His whole day is spent "buttering up" people. He has no reason to ever put it away.

By joking about his domestic foibles, Michelle Obama is showing herself as a woman who doesn't kowtow to her husband

Ahh, isn't that just too sweet. Not.

Mr. M and I both cook although he does most of it now. If I use the butter, I put it away. He doesn’t eat butter. After 37 years, we work as a team. I used to whine about this or that but now, any word I say about him to anyone else is praise and thanksgiving. If there’s a problem, I look to myself and resolve my part in it, apologize to Mr. M and move on.

Depending on the racial makeup of the crowd, she can go from proper English to ebonics...sort of like The Beast and just as scary.

I have had some experience with a spouse “sharing” in public. It is hurtful, and harmful...particularly for those who are engaged in dealing with that same audience. As a pastor, where your credibility and integrity is the main currency of your work, “sharing” can really undermine how others perceive you...and it makes your work a lot more difficult.
