I've been asking this question for weeks now concerning the "compromise" bill. It blows my mind that it continues to move forward despite all the opposition from the legal citizens of this country.

The politicians seem to have viewed taxpayers as mere unpleasant field slaves for so long, they just might actually be sincere in being shocked that we are not.

And that we don’t want a new class of slaves here.
We want the illegal alien slave trade ended, not given a new “designation”.
Enforce the laws already on the books against the US employers who hire illegal aliens, and build the fence around the border.

I don't know. I remember a couple of years ago Pat Buchanan raised it as an issue and if you dared mention his name on this forum you were flamed.

How can you blame the politicians, especially Republican ones, the way this forum acted towards the leading proponent of controls on immigration.

I'm almost afraid to think they really don't give a rats AZZ. The American populace has spoken over and over on this issue yet they are jamming this thru....This will be yet another slap in the face to us law abiding/tax paying citizens.
