If so, it won't even come close to working. Acts like this tend to have the opposite effect -- gets Americans righteously angry and patriotic. .....and looking to some kick commie/nazi posterior.

I couldn't agree more. I suspect all the anti war talk is having that effect. My father marched in a parade today and noticed the crowd was very large. He was informed the crowd size has been increasing for the last three years.
