Quotes from Bob Schindler (Terri’s dad)

“Long before and during the malpractice trial, you made a number of commitments to Mary and myself. One of your commitments was that award money was to be used to enhance Terri’s medical and neurological care.”

BOB SCHINDLER: And after the money came in, it was maybe two months after that, and I confronted him and asked him when are you going to begin Terri’s rehabilitation? And he told me to mind my own business. Now, he had, you know, promised that before. So it was a complete change. And that was the onset of the problem.

The day of Michael's explosion was February 14, 1993. After that day, Michael never again spoke to the Schindlers, vowed that her family would never see her again, and never again allowed any therapy for Terri. From that day on (if not much earlier!), he was only interested in her death -- the therapy money would be his! "Isn't that b*tch dead yet?" "I'm gonna be rich!"

Two or three months later, he tried to kill her by ordering her facility not to give her antibiotics for a UTI.
