Kyl also says the calls to his office in support of the Bush-Kennedy bill have "doubled." Maybe he means from 4 per day to 8?

Senator Kyl and staff.... if you vote for the shAMNESTY bill like a RINO there will be an electoral upheaval revolution from the conservative base that will rise up and rid the GOP of sellouts and compromisors with the liberal leftists. It will be very very sad to add your good name to that list but added it will be if you vote for this travesty!

There are signs that the fierce initial opposition to Kyl's stance may be turning. The senator said last week that the number of calls to his office from angry constituents was tailing off, while messages of support had doubled. This is BS. If he wants phone calls and e-mails 24/7, that's what he'll get.
BTW, I haven't heard that Kyl will be facing his constituents here in Tucson while he's "back home from Washington." Does anyone know his schedule?

There has just got to be something covert going on behind the scenes for these guys to flip flop like this. They’re changing their positions with the wind — no loyalty to anyone, especially the constituents.
Senators — we are ON to you guys — you were bombarded with negative calls on this and you know it. This is amnesty and if you vote for it, you’re history!

>> “I was dumbfounded by his change of heart ... and I truly apologize for the incident with the pinata,” said Elias Bermudez, the director of the Immigrants Without Borders activist group in Phoenix. “We are very proud of his stance.”
THAT’S about all I need to know about where Kyl’s heart now is...
traitor to Arizona, traitor to america. And why? So he could get his picture taken with Teddy?

Here is the real story on calls. I call continuously and if I call the direct phone numbers to any pro-amnesty senator, I find that all their message machines are full or that I must call back during office hours. Call the Illegal Alien 800 number and you will be connected to your senator pronto after a short propaganda piece urging the caller to support the AMNESTY. If you don’t believe this, try it yourself.
Something stinks bad with our so-called Public servants!!!
We will have to eject these traitors in the near term!

I suspect someone on the enemy side found Senator Kyl’s price. If not, then perhaps he has been blackmailed. In any case, Arizona is particularly vulnerable to a complete Democratic takeover. Adding several hundred thousand likely Democrat voters to the electorate will move the Grand Canyon State over to the liberal side. Senators Kyl and McCain are leading the charge to move this nation to the left for decades to come and to convert America into a Third World hellhole.

the pro-amnesty groups are attempting to rev up some calls, so we need to crank up the volume out there people!

"[Kyl] is being seen as someone who is central to resolving a broken system and breaking a logjam ... after way too long." We're all standing downstream from the so called "logjam."
This is insane. Until the government enforces the existing law, new laws, which sweep the problem under the rug will continue to exaccerbate the problem. We'll get 100 miles of token "fence" and a few thousand more BP agents who will have the same problems with enforcement they're having today: Liberal border Governors, Governesses, and Liberal prosecutors siding with drug smuggling aliens who were "roughed up" by the BP agents.

At the onset, Kyl and other senators were swamped with heart-felt anti-amnesty calls.
By now, the liberal groups are organized and the volume of orchestrated calls will undoubtedly be more to the various RINO and liberal senators' liking.
They will use these latter messages to justify their pro-amnesty positions.
Just another trick of your trade, isn't it, you silk-suited con-artists!

This thing reminds me of NAFTA and GATT. In both of those cases, Congress voted against the wishes of 80% of the voters.

Don’t worry about it. They are only taking the positions that Americans won’t take. They may be doing the opposite of what we want, but they know best. Bush said so.
