Nope, just felt like it sometimes. Back in the seventies we had some spells when it was well over 100 for a week or longer with steam bath humidity levels. We haven’t had weather that miserable for a long time and yet we keep hearing on the weather channel that it is “hotter than normal”, I don’t believe a word of it.
The temperature today is in the eighties with humidity in the forties and it is almost the start of June. I have seen times when the first week of May was hot enough to make today seem like heaven on Earth.
Oh, I know it. I grew up on John’s Island , south of Charleston (no, I don’t speak Gullah). I was just wondering what town in SC was getting all the high temp records.
