This one isn't over, by a long shot. In fact the fun hasn't even started yet; it starts in about two weeks. Look for billion-dollar lawsuits against Duke and the city of Durham and a hundred or so million to multi-million dollar suits against individuals and no law of man, God, or physics requires that those suits take place in North Carolina. There could very easily be scenes of those turkeys having to crawl into some NY or NJ courtroom to face judges and juries totally pissed at what happens when kids from those states try to go south for an education.

There is also the question of whether Duke wants to stay in Durham NC or move. To my thinking they have to move sine I can't picture a parent in his right mind sending a kid to any school in Durham at this point.

Duke can't move--they've got one of the prettiest campuses in the country with all those Gothic buildings. The only hope would be to secede from the city of Durham.

After all, secession is an old North Carolina tradition.

Make it so - please make it so.
