Several weeks ago when MNJ pointed out that our military has gone from 14 million strong pre clinton to 1.4 million ready to fight, the first thought that came to mind was china and it's billion plus population. Capitulation is not an option for most of us.

The most the USA has ever had in uniform was 10 million during WWII.
I used the wrong number Alas pointed out later. Should be about 3 million strong to 1.4 million.
