Oh, no. Don't you know? They never would have been hanging them there in the first place except George W. Bush McChimpy Bushitler made the peace loving terrorists freedom fighters angry by invading their peaceful country (even though they are mostly from other countries). So if we surrender redeploy everything will be peace and love.
All they are saying is give peace a chance.
Seems to me the basic problem the Right has is it doesn’t recognize the fundamental irrationality of the Political Left.
I will give you just one example.
Right after 09-11 the Left was running around telling us we “had to understand why they hate us”. According to the Left they hate us because we support repressive regimes in the region.
So we went to Iraq and removed the most brutal repressive regime in the region and the Left immediately started howling “We are creating terrorists being in Iraq”
This is the basic PR problem the current crop of Republicans have. They sit down with the people like Tim Russert et al, who believe this sort of screaming insanity, and try to REASON with them. So people like Senator Session’s today try to find some rational common base for discussion with people who’s world view is totally irrational and get their PR butts handed to them.
Until the Right puts forward tough no nonsense spokespeople who will take head on the basic irrational of the context the Left continually trys to put these debates into, they are going to keep getting their PR butts kicked.

I heard a few minutes of a replay of Bob Shieffer’s show on cspan radio today. He was talking to a female correspondent in Iraq, and they were discussing these rescued victims. She actually said “the so-called enemy” referring to the people who did this.
These people are deranged.
