Keep in mind that we love and respect John Wayne because of he roles he played. Sure, he believed in the roles he played but someone had to write the scripts. He was popular because he represented the way America was back then - brave, adventuresome, and respectful of moral values. He was America as we prided ourselves in being.
Today, with the left controlling Hollywood and the media, would he even have a chance to present that side of America? I doubt it! Therefore, God bless America as it was back then and the way John Wayne presented it. May we return to that era soon.
