I make my share of typos, too, and would hate to be judged for them.

However, this is a hand lettered sign, I don’t think I make “typos” when I hand letter.

There really can be no excuse for a mistake that bad on a written sign.

Of course, it may have accomplished one thing.

The person who wrote it may never show their face in public again. ;)

That's not a typo. That is a misuse of a word due to ignorance. The word "are" is spelled correctly.
