found this with a google search on the number, it’s from a comment left on a myspace page. Looks like it was posted on may17th, so it’s been active for at least a week. Maybe we can track down more from this:

You can call your senator at 800-822-2005 listen to the instructions and you will be done in less than a minute. It takes one person to make a difference be that ONE person.
Interesting....I didn’t double-check the actual number at the site....but that page came up in a Google search of the original number.
This could explain plenty as to a lawmaker declaring that almost all calls to their office were in favor of some previous position. I always thought they were lying, now I know they’re just gullible.
Well....yes and no. Your tax dollars are paying for it. But use it anyway!!

Hey, Joe. Do you have your FL Ping list available? I just called Nelson and Martinez with George Soro’s nickle. Nelson’s office said he hadn’t committed yet, but that he wasn’t happy with the lack of border enforcement. When I was done, they transferred me to Martinez. Martinez office didn’t even bother to defend his position. Lame.
They seem to be hearing quite a lot from their constituents (me included).
When I called the staffer seemed a bit surprised at my position? I’d bet the ranch they give priority to these backdoor lines so they can claim a higher percentage constituent support this Amnesty.
I would like to think you correct, but with what has been taking place in D.C. by our congress, I’m not so certain our congress actually want citizen input nor am I certain congress really cares about winning the war.
Senator Lott has been quoted as saying that even if the people of this country oppose the bill, it should be passed.
can we get this number out to RUSH?
Hanity?
heck even Michael Savage?
ANY of the Right Talk XM hosts?
(am desk bound today)
I am extremely disappointed in any person, in our congress, representing persons other than the American citizens. This is senator Lotts choice, he is wrong.
Our politicians have been exposed to the extreme length they will go to push foreign interests no matter how harmful for this country.
We are. One way or another, US citizens are paying for our own destruction.
Called two times for Craig and Crapo of Idaho, one ring each, direct line in.

this thread has been removed from the breaking news page. what is going on here? Can’t seem to get this publicized anywhere! Drudge is ignoring it, I haven’t heard Rush on it. Is this a small story being blown out of proportion (I don’t think so) or is it being spiked here on FR and in the blogosphere?
I am now of the belief our reps in D.C. are only out to take advantage of the situation and the public (taxpayers) are to be sent signals but no substance. The ramrod is in place and my throat is feeling the bill enter. Lord if this bill is shoved home, I will no longer have a nation. I will have to encourage my children to leave before it is too late. I am so disappointed in the people who are supposed to represent America and the American people. What was once my senate is full of people who hate America and America’s citizens.
