I thought to point of your map post was to show that areas of South were 'Blue'. Those are areas of heavy concentrations of the depend class, i.e. - Democrats.

I am well aware that there are huge numbers of gap-toothed, cousin-marring, rednecks in the North. As for the urban areas; the depend class is in the majority.

That is precisely why an understanding of local demographics is necessary.
