1 Corinthians 7
Principles of Marriage
1 Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me:
It is good for a man not to touch a woman. 2 Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. 3 Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband.
He left me. I didn’t leave him. He went to prison, then he died.
I am angry at the downward spiral this country has taken and being called bigoted because I believe in right and wrong. And seeing so many intelligent people who should know the difference between right and wrong condone that which is clearly wrong.
“If homosexuality is a choice, then God must have created us all as bisexuals. Do you believe that? I don’t feel I have a choice. I’m a heterosexual. God made me that way, and I thank Him for it because that means I don’t have to deal with hate from people like you. “
Well said. To my eyes, it seems most people are born with certain looks and their sexual inclinations tend to follow, there is little choice involved: We’ve all seen masculine looking women and effeminate men who, no matter what they do, cannot change to any large extent how they appear or behave. It’s just the way they are. Masculine looking women tend to be lesbians, very effeminate men tend to be gay.
While I strongly dissaprove of promiscuity, I nevertheless feel we should all just live and let live.
A blessed child is one who is sincerely loved by his parents... And that certainly seems to be the case here.
