I did not say not to love this child. I think the adults who create a child without the intention of giving the child a father are selfish. Half of this baby's dna is disregarded as unnecessary.

I said it is selfish to deliberately conceive a child without the possibility of the family unit that nature intended. This is true when "Murphy Brown" did it and when Mary Cheney did it, and when thousands of American women do it every year.

Well, thank you for clearing that up. Some of the best children come from the “worst” parents, indeed.

And don’t necessarily underestimate the emotional dynamic that the child imposes on the mother. Children are little miracles that become polluted by the Fallen World.

Thanks again for responding. We have to hold ourselves accountable for our own actions, as variegated as they may be. Still, I think condemning loving parents unilaterally might be a bit outside the lines, particularly at this time.
