Mary Cheney Gives Birth to Baby Boy

Mary Cheney gave birth today to perhaps the most anticipated baby in contemporary U.S. politics -- her first child, Samuel David Cheney, whom she will raise with her longtime partner Heather Poe.
The 8-pound, 6-ounce boy is the sixth grandchild for Dick Cheney.

I know what your point is, but if you stop and think of all the politics of our history as humans going back to Kings like Henry 8th, the murders of children that may foster rebellion when full grown. And then Jesus, the most famous birth of all that had political ramifications.
I suspect this child will have a life comprised as a poster child for gay marriage. I hope the parents have the good sense to protect him from that.
The miracle of birth and children often lead parents back to an appreciation of the creator and hopefully to a personal relationship with Him. This child may help point these women back to God and begin in them a healing and true joy that can only be found a relationship with Him.

I was 22 when I got married and my husband and I introduced each other to heterosexuality, to use your turn of phrase. We've been married 5 years and I've not once experimented or had relationships with others. I find it rather shocking that you consider such fidelity abnormal.

That’s a cold reply. It sadly should concern people. I’m sure the daughter has some nice qualities, she does support her father. However, it’s still not right. Hopefully, one day she will realize it and come to terms with it. But the baby is innocent.
What is going on with our world, I understand the concept of not being judgemental, but isn’t something being taken a little too far? There is no way anyone can ever morally justify a lesibian relationship, I don’t care how many civil rights laws they pass, this one can never be made right. It’s really twisted that people are becoming so confused that we don’t even know anymore as conservatives that homosexuality is wrong, on EVERY level, I don’t care how nice the involved people are, it’s still wrong. We are so confused, yet how are we supposed to keep Hillary out of the White House if we can’t even recognize basic truths anymore?
This is why I pray Chenney never runs for President, we can’t have this, the Democrats, they can do anything because they hate America and they want to destroy the country anyways. But as people who love this country, we have different standards.

Your right, but it is way too late to worry about the reason the baby was conceived after the deed was done. Sure we could say that Mary Cheney should not have done this, but what end result would happen? Would we all praise her if she had an abortion? I for one would be even more disappointed in her if she decided that. Let’s say that she read all these posts especially after she got pregnant and found out the conservatives were pissed off about this and she said, “I can’t handle the conservatives being mad at me especially since my father who I respect is a conservative and might find some new enemies because of me. I better just get rid of this problem and go back to my “out of picture” life and give my Dad a break from judgment. Would we be happy with this senario?” I cannot bring myself to be happy about that. It was just too dang late to question it when Mary was already pregnant.

Just the fact that homos have to jump through hoops to have a child should show them what they are doing is not the natural order of things. But yet, they try to sell it to the public as an “alternate lifestyle”. Its just plain wrong.
I am glad to see that there are some here that still know what the truth is. I don’t respect Chenney, he must be something of a wimp. I didn’t like it either when he shot the guy in the butt. Rich people have no excuse for hunting. I know that doesn’t sound right coming from a conservative, but that’s the way I feel.
