The chart above clearly shows, among other things, that in those industries that employ illegals the MAJORITY of the jobs are held by....GASP!...AMERICANS. That puts a HUGE HOLE in Bush's claim that illegals are doing jobs Americans won't do.
It also shows, as Bush has claimed, that more than a million illegals a year have been deported since Bush took office.
Well if they can deport 6 million, they can double their efforts and deport 12 million.
Lastly, after BOTH borders have been secured, all illegals should be deported including the incarcerated. Why should Americans pay to incarcerate other countries' criminals. It's not like we're short on American criminals and long on prison cells. And by deporting the foreign incarcerated in American prisons we not only lower our prison costs but we open up slots for AMERICAN criminals who are now roaming about the country unabated.
The 2008 Conservative Revolution has started! Now all we need is a CONSERVATIVE to lead the revolution. Because we are in danger of not only losing our two party system but our sovereignty. It is time for CONSERVATIVES to take back the GOP and the time is NOW

The great thing about Ann is that after the Libtards and "Nice Guy" Conservatives have a hissy fit, and the dust settles, she turns out to be right.

Well if they can deport 6 million, they can double their efforts and deport 12 million. Maybe it's the same few who are deported time after time.
If I were sneaking in, I would bring my fat friend Pedro. I wouldn't have to outrun the border patrol - I would just have to outrun Pedro. Sorry, Pedro, but it looks like you were caught again.

Did you notice how the number of deportations *plummets* at 9/11? I guess Homeland Security's had other priorities.

Duncan Hunter’s record makes him the best man to take on the illegal immigration and border security problem. He has been saying repeatedly that he will build the fence in six months. Seal up the border and then enforce the laws. Arrest and deport.

That puts a HUGE HOLE in Bush's claim that illegals are doing jobs Americans won't do. Actually, THAT chart says (or, to be more precise, those charts say) absolutely nothing about that particular question.
(What you claim the chart says is, in fact, true - but the rightmost chart tells where illegals work, not what percentage of the workers in those places are illegals.)

That puts a HUGE HOLE in Bush's claim that illegals are doing jobs Americans won't do.I agree that it is an erroneous claim, but why call it 'Bush's claim'? That claim has been around a very long time, and was even used when the discussions about Reagan's amnesty bill were taking place. (I don't recall Reagan ever saying it, but others did.)

Deportation does no good. They just keep coming back. There must be actual punishment sufficiently draconian as to eliminate recidivism and scare first offenders out of crossing the border.
