Lutheran Church Missouri Synod is conservative
the smaller Wisconsin Synod is also conservative
The Evangelical Lutheran Synod is moderate to liberal.
The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is WAY left of the others. I heard a “Merry Christmas and Happy Ramadan” from the pulpit, and then I never went back.
