You can debate science, but not religion. Most people can’t be reasoned out of religion because they weren’t reasoned into it.
I would highly recommend reading Hugh Ross and C.S. Lewis, in particular his work "Mere Christianity".

wanna bet? actually although some of us may have initially become christians by faith, the more we study the more reason why find to believe.
the bible and its amazing characteristics in so many areas including history, archaeology, science, prophecy, and as an ancient text itself are truly a reason to believe.
creation and related scientific finds is another.
i believe NOW because i know. if i only had my faith without my head knowledge, i would stumble alot more when times get tough. that is why it is a shame for people to take on the faith and then go no further. because they will never know why they believe and I believe they will be weaker disciples.
Reason seems to be in the eye of the beholder. Josh McDowell, Lee Strobel and others would argue that they WERE reasoned into being Christians.
