I agree there isn’t any widespread evidence, but as they say “absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.” People have been trying to discount the existence of the ancient nation of Israel simply because of limited current archaeological evidence.

Potential evidence falls in at least three areas:
Historical eyewitness accounts
Ancient artwork and artifacts
Fossilized footprints

Some of the evidences provided have been questionable (but no more so than the many false “missing links” that have been brought forward), but others are more intriguing and hard to discount. As a body, they provide an interesting and believable framework that happens to agree with the Biblical accounts.

The thing is, if dinosaurs lived with in the last 6K years there wouldn't be a need for searching for a few footprints in a creek bed or cave drawings that vaguely resemble something. There would be overwhelming evidence so much so that there wouldn't even be a conversation about it.

We know dogs and horses co-existed with us. If every living dog and horse died we would still know this because there bones lie along side our ancestors for millennia.

Same with deer, rabbit and fish whose chewed remains predictably turn up in millennia old settlements. There is no debate on these animals because the evidence is overwhelming.

If dinosaurs coexisted with us we would see them, unmistakably, in the art and garbage pits of early man.
