When I came home.....around 2:30ish, they were voting on the Bingaman (Dem.,New Mexico) admendment....

..however, when they did the role call, I clearly heard..."Grassley, aye"....

..so now I'm confused.

I thought the Bingaman admentment countered the Grassley amendment?????

I had to run out a bit this afternoon so I've gotten a bit lost. When I turned the tv back on I heard LaMar Alexander talking about Internet taxes, and later Tom Harkin babbling about Guantanamo Bay.

So is the immigration debate over for today? Don't forget people, I'll try to put up a thread every day as long as this goes on. Check in if you can.
