Inconvenient Truths for Global Warming Fundamentalists
http://www.evaneco.com/ ^

April Temps in U.S. Below Average

I’ve heard GWFundies* somehow blame this on global warming, which leads me to believe they don’t understand weather cycles better than anyone else.

Scientists Who Changed Their Mind on Global Warming

I didn’t think any “real” scientists were against man-made global warming?

Man-made versus naturally produced greenhouse gas concentrations

So if the vast majority of greenhouse gases are not man-made, how are we causing it?

* I use “Global Warming Fundamentalists” to refer to those who don’t or won’t consider any evidence that in any way contradicts their belief that global warming is man-made.

Global Warming is a hoax by globalist conspirators to front for their erosion of property rights around the world, as well as acclamating the globe to the idea of global taxes.

We are having May Gray at the beach and move to June gloom. Not much sun here until July.

Just as a side note, I never noticed this before about this Live Earth concert, but has anyone seen the ticket prices for this thing?

“Tickets for the US Live Earth concert are priced at $53, $83, $173 and $348 and went on sale on Monday April 16 via the Live Earth website and Ticketmaster. A special block of tickets was set aside for AlGore.com members.”

$348 dollars? Say what? And just who is this money going to?

Very cool May here in Michigan. We had a frost warning a couple nights ago. My peach and pear trees didn’t even bloom this year.

To be honest, low readings in April do not disprove this popular theory any more than high readings any other time prove it. But to be honest, this is not about being honest at all. It is about how much we all should care, and caring for the things we are all supposed to care about is more important than how honest we can be with facts and data.

We can marvel at the Great Salt Lake and even glibly read over official accounts of about it:

“...cold periods of the ice ages, the great basin filled with water, creating Lake Bonneville, and eventually flooding to the north into the Snake River and to the Pacific Ocean. The drainage was not able to maintain itself as decreased precipitation lowered the level of Lake Bonneville, and the remnants are Utah Lake and the Great Salt Lake....” [1]

Then we can tour to the south and east to view another often pictured tourist destination, the Cliff Dwellings of the Anasazi at Mesa Verde, Colorado that were abandoned around 1300 AD due to rainfall that became too little to support the type of sustainable farming these quaint native peoples practiced. [2]

Edwards Air Force Base is built around a dry lake bed that was formed when a glacier of the last ice age receded, about 10 to 13 thousand years ago.

When the Truman Lake in western Missouri was being constructed, an archaeological survey found remains of large Bison, Saber-toothed tiger and mammoths in conifer forest ecosystem that was extant as the ice cover was melting northward at the end of the ice age.

It should go without saying that if, only ten thousand years ago, the climate was so cold that ice covered the Midwest over the entire year, and that when the Midwest was settled some 200 years ago, it was notoriously hot in the summer, that, um, dare I suggest that the climate warmed up. On its own. Without any human cause. No SUVs.

The issue is not that the climate is changing. Indeed it is always changing. If it stopped changing, something would be wrong. The issue is: to what extent has human activity caused climate change in excess of the natural change?

I don’t recall hearing a single bit of news from the grant-enriched scientific community as to what is the natural rate of climate change. If we don’t know that baseline, how can we discover any human-induced change?

We cannot. The madness called “Global Warming” is just a Popular Passion. It is what is presently fashionable within the community of the Caring People, and the Beautiful People, who are often one in the same.

We can post facts all day long, but the CP/BP don’t care about facts, they care about what they care about and only in the way they care. Anyone else is guilty of being in “denial”.

“I’ve heard GWFundies* somehow blame this on global warming,”

They`ve been saying all along that global warming causes cold weather.

Al's behind on his electric bill. He needs some cash before they pull the plug on his hot tub.
