Savage's more 'locker room' humor I suspect would appeal a lot more to the male species than the female. Stern's audience I suspect is/was mostly male and probably Imus' too.

Women prefer Oprah, home shopping, stuff like that, I don't think the female sensibility relishes gutter humor, maybe just gutter politics.
