When Pat Buchanan (and others!) said it's a sin to vote for Clinton, that kind of nonsense rhetoric turned off voters, made Republicans look like idiots, and, simply, hurt more than helped. Posturing as if civilization itself! hinges on your vote is equally dumb.

What do you think this is all about? If the purpose of our elections is not to advance our Republic and thereby Western Civilization, then why bother? What propels you to come to a political forum to discuss politics if you're uninterested in advancing Western Civilization?
