Funny thing about these political "meltdowns." They are reversed at the drop of a hat. Just four years ago, the Dems were on the verge of total and utter collapse.

In 1928, the Dems were virtually dead and irrelevant, only to be dominant five years later.

In 1850, the Dems were not only the majority party, they were the ONLY party . . . and had completely disintegrated 10 years later.
