As Americas media largely gushed over House Speaker Nancy Pelosis (D-California) visit to Syria last month, it would only be fair of them to gauge reaction of the citizens most-largely impacted the Syrians themselves.

"They say that Ms. Pelosis visit, no matter how well-intentioned" First, there was nothing well intentioned about the visit. Second, she is who she is. Just a bumbling dumbass goober, much like Jimmuh Cartah.

Bashar’s misshappen head looks like he had a terrible accident at one of those drive-through bank teller suction tubes.

One of my Senators, Richard Shelby, responded to my concern about her visit. This is what he said: “Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi recently led a Congressional delegation of six lawmakers on a trip to the Middle East. During this trip, the group visited Israel, Lebanon, the Palestinian territories, Saudi Arabia, and Syria, where they met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Upon her return to the United States, the Speaker received criticism for purportedly contradicting the message sent from President Bush regarding the overture by Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert for a possible resumption of peace talks.
While the Speaker’s Syrian visit has been condemned, I believe that a meeting is worthwhile if positive progress is made. However, we do not need our politicians sending mixed messages to our foreign counterparts or undermining the President’s foreign policy agenda.”
My Congressman was “disappointed to see that Speaker Pelosi decided to pursue her own diplomatic agenda on that trip.”
President Bush and Secretary Rice were certainly unhappy. It would be interesting to me to see what other Congressional Leaders had to say about this trip via letters.
