There is a war going on out here, CJ, and while there was no formal December 7, 1941-style declaration, there WAS

SEC. 3. AUTHORIZATION FOR USE OF UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES.

(a) AUTHORIZATION. The President is authorized to use the Armed Forces of the United States as he determines to be necessary and appropriate in order to

(1) defend the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq; and

(2) enforce all relevant United Nations Security Council Resolutions regarding Iraq.

We haven't won until the enemy admits it. We aren't done.

We can't muster up support for what we have on our plate now. Invading Iran, while satisfying to fantasize about, is probably beyond our capabilities right now.

So according to that wonderful resolution, we are fighting a UN war. That in its self is reason to barf.

The Iraq enemy is dead, Saddam is gone, he’s party is dead, his sons are dead. They have held free elections, The Iraq war is over. Iran and others are sending weapons and people in to fight us. Until we move into and kill the source, these rodents will continue to sting us. We need to keep moving.

Iran and Iraq fought each other to a stalemate over eight years. We took Iraq in mere weeks. It’s bs to say we can’t take Iran in the same time.

BTW according to Bush’s AG, it’s not a war.
