Chambliss hissed in Georgia for supporting immigration bill
Lone Star Times ^ | 05/21/2007 | Rick

While Sen. Lindsey Graham was being booed in South Carolina for his support of the Senate Sham immigration bill, Sen. Saxby Chambliss was being hissed at by Republicans in Georgia for the same reason:

Delegates to the state Republican convention unleashed a rare chorus of boos and hisses at U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss on Saturday, as he spoke up for a bipartisan immigration reform package unveiled in Washington this week.

Saxby, meanwhile, had a fast explanation for the crowd’s reaction - they’re just ignorant!

After the speech, Chambliss said he took the crowd’s reaction as a lack of popular understanding of the shape of the current immigration system.

Don’t look now, Saxby, but there appears to be a wave of discontent on this bill. It started in South Carolina and seems to be sweeping west.

Here’s hoping the wave turns into a sunami.

Good to read that Lindsey Graham and Saxby Chambliss are hearing it from the people. I'd boo them or any other republican shamnesty supporter too.

It’s not the booing that makes me happy; it’s the hissing. Brings a little tear to the eye.

RINOS must pay. They cannot be reelected. Cut off all funds, start working against them now.

The only language RINOs understand. Send them packing.

Yeah Saxby, we are ignorant! The Senate has refused to introduce the bill so that we can all read it and become enlightened. When that happens, “us ignant folk smell somethin rotten on Kapitol hill” (Said in the finest Hillery drawl!)

I was channel surfing after watching the latest Sopranos on a west coast feed, and ran into a tape of Lindsey Graham speaking for amnesty earlier today on C Span. What a dork. Graham is so disconnected from the average citizen as well as his constituents it is unbelievable. South Carolinians need to continue to sober this boy up. He is full of himself, as is McCain, as is Hagel and a lot of other treacherous Republicans. I never thought I would see so many Republicans including Jorge Bush pimping legislation for Teddy Kennedy. I never thought that the Republican Party could be brought so low as to conspire with a Kennedy to sell this county out.

What really galls me is the attempt by the ruling classes to portray opponents as ignorant racists. Somehow, obeying the law is racist.

I will be dead honest...i have toyed with the idea of putting down the news/politics and just living my life like so many other uninformed americans....this crap has me so sick that it puts a pit in my stomach....i can’t even look at most politicians on TV anymore...they sicken me....Bush is at the top of the list...i expect this garbage from Dems....but for pete’s sake, i always thought we had a chance with the pubs at holding the barbarians from the gate.....i honestly don’t know anymore....i’d probably feel better if i put on a tinfoil hat and just figured it’s all a NWO conspiracy...

HELL..it just might be!

Unbelievable, the Republicans on Capital Hill are out of touch and delusional, no wonder the Dhims are confident.

I cannot believe that my Republican party has slipped into “we know better than you”.

And they wonder why fundraising dollars down? When La Raza has a “veto” seat at the table and the average Republican voter doesn’t, the answer should be quite clear.

Me too--either that or become a leftie. I really don't understand why lefties are so unhappy--everything is drifting their way.

I have always believed in the NWO. I have believed in conspiracies by elites and the elite that I always feared more than Democrats were Rockefeller Republicans, of which we now know has been reinvented as compassionate conservatism by Skull and Crossbones fratboy named Jorge W Bush. Think about this. Gerald Ford, somehow became President without ever appearing on a national ticket as a candidate for President or Vice President. And somehow Nelson Rockefeller became his Vice President. And the NWO dream of a Rockefeller in the White House would have come true if Sara Jane Moore or Squeaky Fromme had had better training.

Let’s be fair about this! Any democrat that voted for it needs to be booed and hissed at too!!

Seriously, I think that there is going to be an uprising in this country similar to the one against Hillary’s health care fiasco back in ‘95. Ar least I hope so!!! Pro amnesty politicians ain’t going to know what hit them!

Chambliss is owned lock, stock, and barrel by interests that want to import illegal aliens and H1-B’s, or outsource American jobs to India. Its a diagrace.

It’s a strange time we live in....the older i get, the hopefully wiser i get, the more i believe in elitist running this country into the ground to support some kind of outcome i am not sure about...sure, it’s understandable that the super wealthy have always had plenty of sway...but this is the first time i have seen blatantly sneaky deals being done against the undeniable majority of opinion in this country...something else is going on here besides politics as usual....but then again maybe our pols are just that out of touch...time will tell but then it may be too late.

Most Americans are either too busy, ignorant or just don’t care it seems...of course us political wonks on FR keep tabs on this stuff...if i walked up to my average coworker and mentioned this bill...they would look at me like i was crazy and just disregard me as an alarmist or just make a simple comment like “things are going to hell in a hand basket”.... in my book it’s either 3 things....loobyist for cheap labor, dems get to add to their dependent voting bloc or it’s a well mapped out plan by shadowy ruling elites...maybe all 3....strange times as i say....but i do think we are at a crossroads...we can’t keep up the steam for this so called WOT if we so easily roll over at our own borders...how is that possible?
