CHICAGO Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Religion Editor Frank Lockwood -- who set off a firestorm of criticism that reached into the White House with his story quoting Jimmy Carter calling George W. Bush the worst president in history -- said Monday that he quoted the former president accurately, fairly and in context.
The proof, he says, is in audio posted on the Democrat-Gazette Web site http://www2.arkansasonline.com/
Take this as Gospel. Jimmy Carter is a LIAR, and just like Al Gore, will say anything to get back into the paper. Having slimed the name of the Nobel Peace Prize, having slimed the reputation of the United States, having slimed the Navy with his mere presence in their ranks, having slimed everything possible, he has slimed HIMSELF! Jimmah, your TRUE colors are showing, Yellow for Coward, and Black for the color of your now non-existent soul.
Thanks for representing to the WORLD all the WORST the United States has to offer! You give all those who hate the US and success in general a perfect role-model! Grats dude, Mission Accomplished!
BTTT
This morning while waiting for my car to be serviced, I was forced to watch “The View”. Rosie O’Donnell was doubting that Carter was backing off his comments. Even though Elizabeth Hasselbeck was trying to tell, the others were drowning her out. I fully expect the mainstream press to not report this
proof of Carter’s lying.
“He said he did not mean to call it the worst in history.”
He didn’t mean it? Oh ok, not to worry then. He didn’t mean it.
What rubbish.
Uhm, how is Jimmy Carter a liar? He said his words were careless, and that he hadn’t meant to imply that Bush was the worse president ever, only this particular administration in regards to foreign policy.
Of course they won’t report it! It would mean telling the truth and upholding journalistic standards! Can’t have that! (\wrist)(\sarc)
Ah, but Jimmy is a good Democrat, so all is forgiven, right?
He once said Zell Miller was disloyal, and charged that Zell wasn’t a good enough Democrat.
One thing I have wondered about Jimmy, is that he was openly a born again Christian, and was open about religion, and was elected, and it was ok with the politically correct crowd. But with Bush, the politically correct crowd has hyperventilated about how he wants to mix religion and politics, etc.
So...is it ok to be an openly Christian Democrat but not ok to be an openly Christian Republican?
I specifically remember Jimmy said he was against Medicaid funding of abortion, and said that government doesn’t have to make things equal in this area when a moral factor is involved. Yet he is fawned over because...........is it because he’s a good Democrat?????
Listen to the tape.
Welcome to FR
Isn`t there an unsaid rule that former Presidents do not criticize the current President? I think it`s a matter of showing respect for the office of the President, but on the other hand, liberals never had respect for much of anything do they, except for our enemies. What an absolute ass clown this Carter is.
He was making a joke! Everyone knows that!
‘like Kerry bashing aour troops “Joke”
O.K. - so he was “Sloppy” , but it was a Joke nontheless ~Sarc
If Jimmy Carter is a born-again Christian, I guess I better make my plans for hell.
Editor & Publisher is touting an on-line poll on the Blog by the editor who interviewed Carter. A whopping 241 people voted and agree with Carter. Landslide.

As grand pappy used to say, if you talk with an a-hole you should not be surprised that it farts in your face.
First day and he’s defending Carter...
ROTFLMAO!
I am SO going to use that!!!!!
LMAO, NEVER trust a fart! (you may get more than you expect if you follow me...... *rolls eyes*)
He’s just showing what a low class SOB he is. Ex-presidents should STFU about sitting presidents even if they are trying to sell a book.
