There are a whole lot of LA transplants in Tucson. And they’re not white. (or black or Asian) They speak English. They are escaping the violence, drugs, and gangs of LA.

It appears that Tuscon has more crime than Los Angeles.

Maybe they’re leaving their particular area of LA and the crime that was prevalent there. One female I know left southern California after being carjacked TWICE. She is still paranoid as I would be.
