Amnesty is to protect the victims.
Even IF this bill passes, there will still be human smuggling simply because there will be a price to get here the poor cannot pay.

Border crossers are not the same as people that have been trafficked. This is why I’m angry with the media for not explaining this.
The Human Trafficking circuit kidnaps people, brings them here, and hold them in bond labor or servitude.
They didn’t come of their own free will for greed.
The Bush Administration has said from day one, he would bring an end to human trafficking. All his committees and speeches he has made on this consistantly stated, these would be the people given amnesty. Some need their families brought over to protect them. Read the links I’ve provided, it is all there. I have tons more if you need them.
