POST FALLS, Idaho Two home-schooled teenagers in this northern town say they are carrying loaded guns to the library, grocery store and other public areas for self-defense, as a crime deterrent, and to educate others about their rights.
, 18, carries a loaded on his hip. His 15-year-old brother, Steven, carries a in a sling on his back.
Police have been called on several occasions to question the teens but have not found the teens to be in violation of the law.

“Unfortunately, starting this debate now might not be the best idea. Nothing says that we’d win, especially with the Dems in charge of both Houses and the media.”
You know something, there never is a good time. What should we do wait until we hold both houses and the White House before we exercise our rights? Nevermind that there isn’t ANY debate. Idaho’s 2nd ammendment is alive and well, not some compromised over legislated watered down twice removed third cousin.
I’ve carried openly for years, and frankly couldn’t care less if some limp wristed turd from California gets upset. I conceal when I can, but when the weather gets hot open carry is the rule of the day. Why should I have to wear a coat in July?
Funny how things have changed, it wasn’t that long ago that carrying concealed meant you had bad intentions, but carrying openly was regarded as “normal”.
Hey, I never said that one shouldn’t exercise their rights. I’m just saying that now might not be the best time to open up the seemingly incongruous open-carry-okay-but-concealed-carry-requires-permits debate.
“Im just saying that now might not be the best time to open up the seemingly incongruous open-carry-okay-but-concealed-carry-requires-permits debate.”
And I’m saying there simply isn’t any debate. It’s legal and no one in Idaho has any plans to change that.
Here In the south side of the state,
Town pop. about 100,000 Usually about 0.8 murders/year. Thats my rough guess, though.
I don't know too many women in Northern Idaho who don't pack. :-)
