Alltel is worth 5X what Chrysler-Dodge is?! Based on what?

Alltel actually owns physical wireless network in the US than any other companies (footprint).. so if you are with Verizon, Sprint etc, a lot of your use will be on Alltel's network. Alltel has also been one of the best run teleco's, I remember the crash starting around 00 hit telecom very hard, yet Alltel kept chugging forward. Good company, good management, great assets. The PE buyout looks like it will be a great thing for investors, employees and customers.
