Not scared, offended. When one becomes an apologist for bin Laden, as Ron Paul has, and when he justifies the mass murder of Americans by quoting bin Laden, you have to wonder if the man has any affection for bin Laden’s victims. Bin Laden and his ilk are at war with everyone who does not agree with them, so for Ron Paul to pick one of the idiotic and flimsy excuses bin Laden came up with is to show himself to be either an ideologue blinded by his commitment to isolationism, a philistine unfamiliar with the history of the world since around 700AD, a dilettante not aware that bin Laden has a million grievances that cannot be assuaged, or just he’s a knave. Scared of him? No. Disgusted? Yes.

(Al Qaeda knows Iraq's strategic value, yet the Democrats work day and night for our defeat there.)

when he justifies the mass murder I stopped reading right there. I would point out that he did no such thing, but the church of the Iraq war has brainwashed too many minds..I would be wasting my time. ---and I say that as someone who supported the war, and although I think it has gotten screwed up, don't believe in pulling out now.
