I’ll give Fred this. He does something that almost no other prominant Republican will do. That is publicly ridicule a darling of the left.
If he is smart, and doesn’t lose his cool, he could ride that and his stand on illegals to the White House.
The Republican leadership is beyond stupid. They are trying to buy votes with this amnesty bill from the very people that will *never* vote Republican under any circumstance. Way beyond stupid.

I agree! If only the mods thought the same way.
Petronski, I always miss you when they ban you, if that’s any consolation! lol

Mental institution, Michael.
Might be something you ought to think about.

Is there any evidence the JC Watts is even interested? I really like the man & I think that besides his conservative views, he is much more articulate and personable than BHO. But I haven’t seen anything to indicate he is, or that anyone is trying to draft him.

That Cubanesque cigar reminds me of my granfather and his smaller Qunitessa cigars ... oh how we grandchildren looked forward to summer and Pawpaw lighting his cigars and running the mosquitoes away as we clung to him!

One "take" later -- with no script, no booking time in a studio and no opposition research or talking points. . . . Yes, refreshing.

Now, PawPaw would just about get arrested for child endangerment..:)
My father smoked cigars and all 5 of us kids hated it every time he lit up his swisher sweets ugh!......I think about those days when I sit on my porch with a few shots of jack and good cigar..
The stogie looks good on the Fredster. Unless he stumbles or Hillary has him assassinated, he has a great chance of being the next prez....provided civil war doesn’t break out in the interim.

Fred Thompson not only has the chops, he just “looks” like a President. I would feel good about him being the leader of our country. The only democrats I would feel this way about would be Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman.

I used to smoke cigarettes on the porch. My Pawpaw chewed more than he smoked but smoked in the spring and summer. If Fred gets elected, I may take up smoking a fine Rushesque stoagie(sp?) on the porch in the summer time.

JC was one of the first endorsements Fred received. I think if he did it for anyone it would be Fred, but I am not going to bank on it.
Just getting Fred is somewhat of a miracle.

Cauliflower ears could detect the sound of pinkie-toes teetering off the high-level bridge in Downtown Toledo for that entire hour! :O)

Come on Senator, the base is waiting for you :), how about July 4th as a date to enter the race for President and win it all.

Just a curious question: has that slimy Moore posted any response, or rejoinder if you will, to that clip?
