Tax amnesty for illegals
World Net Daily ^ | 5/19/07 | World Net Daily

Whether the new bipartisan Senate immigration bill amounts to little more than amnesty for the 15 to 20 million illegal aliens residing in the U.S., as critics charge, the measure does offer one kind of amnesty – tax amnesty.

According to the Boston Globe, the Bush administration insisted on the removal of a provision in the initial version of the bill proposed by Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) requiring payment of back taxes and any related fines to the Internal Revenue Service as part of the road to citizenship.

That doesn’t sound terribly likely. Frankly, I don’t trust WorldNetDaily on this issue.

“”Determining the past tax liability would have been very difficult and costly and extremely time consuming.”

But, handing out visas and collecting that $5000 won’t be costly and time consuming?

Do these people listen to themselves, or do they really think we are THAT stupid? And I’m not sure I really want to know the answer.

According to the Boston Globe, the Bush administration insisted on the removal of a provision in the initial version...requiring payment of back taxes and any related fines to the Internal Revenue Service as part of the road to citizenship.

Damn, he's just really sticking it in and breaking it off, ain't he?

No reach-around...nothin'.

No it does not, but considering how we’ve already been screwed, who can trust him on anything at this point.

Bush doesn’t care, he’ll have private security detail and fencing surrounding his Crawford Ranch when he steps down from the WH. He’ll rake in millions speaking to globalist and corporate groups, while middle-class folks get screwed by his amnesty plan.

Look, I understand that this issue has folks hopping mad, but I don’t get why.

If our goals are to erase the nation’s sovereignty, reward criminals, make the term “citizen” as meaningless as “marriage,” and destroy the Republican Party, then this immigration deal is just what we’re looking for.

Those are our goals, right? I mean, why else would we be doing this?

Constitutionally "W" was correct. New legislative proposals regarding taxes may not be initiated in the Senate. This must be done only in the House.

Morally, "W" and his running dog lackeys are totally wrong on this illegal immigration deal. They are going to end up fomenting enmity between the American people and the Mexicans for many generations ~ and that's irrespective of the outcome.

“”Determining the past tax liability would have been very difficult and costly and extremely time consuming.”

I suppose that having numerous government agencies perform 12 to 20 million background checks will not be difficult and costly and extremely time consuming!?

Sounds like ordinary Americans are getting gang-banged by Bush, Kennedy, and cronies. For those who may be offended by the image, I apologize. I just can’t think of a more apt description.
