Well I think he said that because an article came out last week saying that global warming will become irreversible in 5 years. It was pretty much a “The world will be destroyed in 5 years” kind of article.
So in 5 years when people see nothing has changed, that article will be a joke. But like you said, the brainwashed will continue to believe the hoax and brush it aside. They`ll probably even change the date; “We meant 6 years from now, not 5!”

Thank goodness. So we'll have a max of 5 more years of this insane drivel. After which "it" (whatever "it" turns out to be, warming, cooling, staying the same, whatever) will be irreversible, meaning there's absolutely no point in doing anything about it. So, end of hysteria, go on about your business. No point in doing anything or even yakking about it. Five years from now makes May 19, 2012. Let's keep that article handy for quoting. After that day, we don't have to put up with global warming nutters any more.
