AH! a $1,000 illegal alien TAX....
Taxing illegals is the BIG government republican way of doing things..
Have I been in a coma and woke up to a socialist republican party?..
It's almost like some have suspected all along, that the two parties are just a facade, a play that's being orchestrated, or projected for the audience, when in reality, behind the curtains, the real plans and agenda are being set.
If we’re supposedly going to make them go to their home countries in 8 years- why not just do that now? Why let them work and drain resources and send money out of the country for eight years?
Also, what makes them think every illegal is going to come forward to get an ID? Do they think all the illegals with criminal records (here or in their home country) are going to come forward to be deported? Maybe they’ll just take their chances until they get caught, like they do now. And, this would actually make it easier for the illegals with money and a support network- like the jihadists. If you don’t work, then basically you’re not going to get “carded”. So you drive without a license, or take public transportation. All you need (if they ask for ID to open a bank account for instance) is a middle man. All you need if you are a jihadist supported by Saudi or other money, is a legit guy to front however many terrorists.
I just think that’s so naive, to say we’ll be able to track everyone and know who’s here. You’re only going to know about the ones that come forward. You’re mostly only going to know about the fairly honest ones. The very ones that you need to know about are the ones who will not come forward. This is the same mentality that thinks gun control takes guns away from criminals.
Believe it or not, our grandson was saying the same thing at age 21. He's done a lot of reading and research. This was one of his conclusions and his older relatives were (are) skeptical.
It's looking more and more like he figured it out.
Tony Snow is a shill among shills.
If that's an old axiom, it's one I never heard. The opinions I've read by the majority of conservative posters espouse their belief that the United States as we know it will not survive much longer.
The grassroots movements had better attract thousands of members if they want to reverse the obvious intentions of the government.
>> find it hard to understand how Tony, at this point in his life, wants to spend his time arguing and fighting for this. Loyalty is commendable, but geez...<<
That’s what I keep thinking, too. Wouldn’t you think that a brush with death and the hereafter would make you want to rise above political lies and spin?
This bill and everyone behind it will pay a big price in the future. I hope they have a second profession in mind. The sad thing is that our country it’s citizens and future generations will pay the price for our feckless leaders selfishness and greed! HOW LOUD DO WE ALL HAVE TO SCREAM! Save your voice America thier not listening nor do they care what we think, so whats left to do? CALL, JAM YOUR REPRESENTATIVES OFFICE PHONES, BURN UP THIER FAX MACHINES TO THE POINT WHERE IT SMOKES, EMAIL SO MUCH THE SERVER GOES DOWN! and of coarse when they do pass this bill the ultimate price is banishment from public office. GET OUT THE VOTE!
Ask you grand son which party is invested in defeat in Iraq?
To answer you, yes, I will put your question to my grandson. He's easily accessible as he lives with us.
Now we learn that the "party in power", the Dems, have backed down on forcing a "withdrawal from Iraq" date. What is their motivation for this?
They gained their majority in Congress so they no longer need to hold a gun to Bush's head, claiming we never had a reason to invade Iraq.
The fact is, we (as a country), are there. As a result, the U.S. now has to consider the consequences for staying...or pulling out. I'm wondering if the Democrats fear a bloodbath caused by the withdrawal of troops who are there fighting for Iraqi freedom. If that should happen, they can already see the blood on their own hands. Not pretty...in the eyes of Americans. Add to that the message terrorists will receive: The U.S. is weak and defeated.
How long will it take for them to strike in America again? None of us wants that!
Considering the recent "change of mind" of the Dems in Congress, it seems to fall in line with how my grandson has sized up the two parties.
Not to overdo the opinions of a now 24-year-old, let me say that I have had many, many debates with him on political views. At least we're thinking.
