Yes, Atheism- the bet of a lifetime- Yup- Ill throw away the ONLY chance EVER of spending time with God and wager my souls eternal existence on the slight chance that there might not be a God- BRILLIANT!
Are these Atheist people complete idiots? Hey Atheists- When you can explain to me what Ive lost by acceptign a FREE gift from God that will have eternal consequences for my soul, and when you can detail exactly how denying God is a more sure bet in the face of the uncertain prospect of eternity, then Yall come on back- till then- Keep your moronic reasoning to yourself.
Wow! You really believe thats how we think? Of course that reasoning is moronic, but who says that? All youre telling me is that I should believe in a god because if he actually does exist then unbelievers all go to hell. Im sorry but your logic there fails terribly, I might as well believe in Santa Claus cause I might not get anything for Christmas
and yes I do celebrate it, secularly.
Atheists are people who simply demand proof in order to believe in something. You have a hard time understanding us and vice versa because you have faith and we dont, period. Yes we can get into the whole scientifically proving gods existence but it really doesnt matter because the fundamental basis of religion is believing without proof, i.e. faith.
People like Dawkins and I are really unable to understand why people believe in things without proof, or even a little evidence. And Ive hung around conservatives enough to understand that you cant see how a person can live without faith. And because we cant understand each other, we sometimes make assumptions about the other side that are completely false and all we end up with are posts like the one you just put up.
This also extends to Dawkins, hes a socialist and because most religious Christians are conservatives, he attacks Christianity as the source of his problems. Of course hes partially right, many of you get most of your beliefs from your religion but there are plenty of atheists out there (myself included) whose morality and beliefs push us much closer to dealing with conservatives rather then liberals. So attacking Christianity just to get at conservatives is ineffective at best and detrimental to his cause at worst.
So, lesson learned right? Not all atheists are damn dirty commies although a lot are. Dont make generalized statements when you know better.

I’m not suggesting that at all- lot’s of people will beleive there is a God- however, they will miss the mark of salvation. All I am saying is seek Him

Seems to me that you demand it, but on your terms only- if that weren’t the case, then you’d at least Seek Him. The proof comes through the leap.

Never said they were as explained by my genralizing reply to Carrots

Also not entirely correct- God Himself said al lthe proof needed is all around us so that no man will have an excuse for not believing or not seeking Him- it’s just a matter of where you’d rather put your faith- either in a science that excludes God, or science that includes Him, or even in the elements all around us that point to God.

People like Dawkins and I are really unable to understand why people believe in things without proof, or even a little evidence. People like Dawkins believe in the evolution of man which has less evidence of facts than the Bible has of the same of what is written in it; yet he goes through whoops to prove the first and disprove the latter.
