If that piece-of-garbage legislation is not vetoed by Bush (even tho he sponsored it), then we conservative Republicans have no home in the party.
Bush has been wanting this for years. Once he started calling them "guest workers", it was clear that he figured he would be able to sign some sort of amnesty.
Weve only built 2 miles of the 700 mile fence we were promised.
Big Business doesn't want it, Bush doesn't want it, the GOP doesn't want it. Back when Bush was Governor, he wanted us to be as close to Mexico as possible. I have a very strong feeling that that's the reason why we have dragged our feet on the wall.

Big Business doesn’t want it, Bush doesn’t want it, the GOP doesn’t want it(The Democrats don’t want it. Back when Bush was Governor, he wanted us to be as close to Mexico as possible (so did the democrats). I have a very strong feeling that that’s the reason why we have dragged our feet on the wall. (Because there is no one party that wants to do ANYTHING to stop the illegals!)
THERE fixed it!
