Romney is not a fan of Roe v. Wade. He’s recently had a bit of a conversion in that regard. In short, he believes that individual states should have the right to determine what their laws are going to be regarding abortion.
He sure was the last two times he ran for office, and by his own admission supported "abortion rights" since 1970, before Roe vs. Wade.
Hes recently had a bit of a conversion in that regard.
Right. As Tancredo described it: A "road to Des Moines" conversion.
In short, he believes that individual states should have the right to determine what their laws are going to be regarding abortion.
The God-given rights to life and liberty are inalienable, and therefore can't be alienated by any government or person, short of a conviction on a capital offense. Those who consider abortion to be a states' rights issue fail to understand this cornerstone principle of American freedom.
Those who promote abortion as a states' rights issue are the modern equivilent of the supporters of slavery in the 1850's.
Thanks CheyennePress. Appreciate it.
