I’ve never been able to get a Romney supporter to answer my question. Maybe you can help:

Shouldn’t a candidate’s current rhetoric bear at least some passing resemblance to his record?

I think a man`s character and judgement are what we are electing but their views on issues can change. I don`t think exactly like I did always in the past. My mind is moving concerning regulation of firearms. (Please, no more on that tonight) My experience is that any man that never changes is still a kid.

Like, say, McCain?

Rush recently drew a contrast between the two. McCain’s been consistent, but he’s been consistently wrong. -At least- Romney says he’s learned. I’m not worried so much about the flips; the flops are what concern me.

Personally, I’m interested in what Thompson can bring to the table.
