I don’t understand how they can observe and then hit these guys without being noticed. This is from a helicopter, right? How far away I wonder and how loud are they? It’s just amazing how they can sit there in mid-air without the bad guys having a clue.

I have a damn good video game simulation of the Comanche helicopter and it fires hellfire missiles and guides them to target from a considerable distance. The missile travels up very high and out to the target, then comes straight down. At least on this simulation you have to hold a lock on the target, but from a considerable distance.
