Pulp Fiction, while it contains a lot of violence and profanity, as does the bible, is actually a religious movie.

Which religion?

No particular religion. The plot has a religious theme if you listen to the dialogue, ( ignoring the vulgarities, ) very closely. Particularly follow the “conversion” of the character played by Samuel Jackson, ( *wink* Think Judas ). ( If he didn’t get an Oscar for that role then he certainly should have. )

The first Star Wars movie in the 70s was also a religious movie. :-) My wife, who is an educator, wrote a “critique” of the first Star Wars movie outlining the parallels of the movie to religious doctrine. Please don’t ask for a copy of it. It was lost in a house fire.

Her first husband, on the other hand, thought that the Star Wars movie was an adapted cowboy movie. :-)
