What's the diffusion rate of a bomb?

Does the bomb evaporate or sublime as it diffuses? I certainly hope the diffusion velocity of the bomb particles is not too high or the bomb might go off.

To counter this, you put your belt around the bomb in case it decides to high order. If you note the case is beginning to swell, you just take your belt up a notch or two and that will contain the explosion.

For all intensive purposes, it’s hard to diffuse a bomb.
